Jo proves theres life after celebrity death

We can't believe its a year since Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara were branded racist bullies after appearing in Celebrity Big Brother.

But while Jade still longs to return to TV and Danielle has moved onto yet another footballer boyfriend, Jo has been quietly preparing for motherhood with her long-term partner.

Her former housemates might be desperate to be pictured falling out of nightclubs or on yet another holiday, but Jo is proving to be an example to them both when it comes to getting your life back on track and your priorities right.

Since leaving the Big Brother house she has kept well away from the paparazzi's cameras. She retreated to her home in the country and spent her time looking after horses shes cared for since her S Club days.

Jo, 28, credits the judgement-free affection of her animals for getting her out of the house when people were jeering her in the street.
She admits: 'Last year was probably the worst one of my life, but I'm grateful for it because it made me look at my life differently.'
With her new arrival due in the spring, Jo says she is looking forward to 'a new year, new baby, new purpose.'
